The Flutie 5K was a huge success! This past Sunday, a group from You’re With Us! participated in the 25th annual Flutie 5K. The group bundled up and met at Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick, MA to support autism awareness and give an example as to what inclusion looks like.
Before the race even began, stars of all abilities took to the stage and gave performances. The Spectrum of Sound choir gave several performances, including the National Anthem and “Shipping Off to Boston” for a fun twist. There were speeches given, self-written songs sung, and stories told, amplifying an already fun environment.

As racers ran, walked, or rolled through the beautiful course, there were steady crowds with cowbells and signs to cheer everyone on. As the weather warmed up, it became a beautiful day to enjoy fall in New England.
